Corrections
If a price, a road status, an opening season or a fact about the falls has moved, tell us and cite where you saw it. Every factual claim on this site traces to the national park, the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration or an operator’s own listing. A number that has moved gets fixed, not argued with.

Hours
Open at all times. There is no gate, no ticket office and no admission charge, and parking is free. What varies is the road: Route 862 on the west bank has limited winter service between January and early April, and Route 864 on the east bank is closed from the first autumn snow until the end of May.
