Short version: this is a set of static pages. We set no cookies, run no analytics and collect nothing about you.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no account, no form that stores anything, no newsletter and no tracking script. If you email us, we have your email address because you sent it to us, and we use it to reply.

Cookies

Dettifoss Tours sets no cookies of its own. Your browser stores nothing from us between visits.

Third parties, and exactly when they are involved

• Google Maps. The map on this site does not load until you press the button. Nothing is requested from Google, and no cookie is set, before you do. If you never press it, Google is never contacted.
• Viator and GetYourGuide. When you follow a booking link you leave this site and arrive on theirs, carrying a tracking parameter that tells them we referred you. From that point their privacy policy applies, not ours, and they will set cookies.
• Our host. The server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary web logs, including IP addresses, as every web server does.
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. We verify ownership of this domain with both. They report aggregate search data to us; they do not identify you.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if analytics or a form arrive — this page changes first and the date in the byline moves with it.
